When it comes to creating and maintaining a healthy, productive garden, proper soil preparation is essential.
Every year on my farm, we spend a lot of time preparing soil for planting. This includes removing debris and old root systems, adding organic fertilizers to enrich the soil, and cultivating the soil to break down large pieces of soil, without even establishing a raised, well-ventilated bed. This is a tedious process, but it is worth the effort for a successful gardening season. After the adjustable tiller arrives at the farm, it is fully suitable for the most arduous work, very suitable for soil preparation and foundation laying, greatly reducing our labor time.
This adjustable tiller has tines with a diameter of 8 inches and a maximum width of 9 inches. The tines are mounted on the reel with pins. After removing the external teeth, the cutting width is only 6 inches. Regardless of whether all the tines are installed, they can be rotated up to 294 RPM. The adjustable depth bar limits the digging depth of the tines, so surface weeds can be removed without cutting into the roots of the plants to be retained.
